Join Linda Rossetti, Emerging Leaders Program 2002 alumna and author of Women & Transition: Reinventing Work and Life, for a provocative interactive session about transitions and living the lives we imagine. Attendees will learn the difference between change and transition; be introduced to a framework for understanding transition; and participate in an exercise designed to introduce the skills necessary to navigate transition successfully. Rossetti’s book features her own transition story and stories from her research with more than 200 women – each of whom decided to pursue transition in hopes of living the life she imagined.
In addition to her ELP experience Rossetti earned an MBA from Harvard and served as executive vice president of human resources and administration at Iron Mountain, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Boston. Rossetti also served as CEO of a venture capital backed tech start up, EMaven, Inc., which was acquired by Perot Systems, now Dell Corporation. Today Rossetti is focused on women’s development through her work in building the capacity for transition in women. She also serves as a managing director for Golden Seeds, an angel capital network that funds women led entrepreneurial startups.
