Are you local to Boston? Planning a personal day over the next few weeks for holiday shopping? Consider skipping whatever you’d planned to attend the 8th Annual MA Conference for Women on December 8th. Why am I blogging about this? Three reasons:
First, a Novofemina reader, Maria, tagged me last week about the conference. I was initially suspect. I’ve been to countless conferences. But, trusting Maria, I did check it out. The site inspired me to register. They’ve embellished the standard conference structure with interactive 1:1 elements that appear more valuable to attendees: like speed-mentoring sessions or local leader 1:1 coaching sessions. Check out the agenda.
Second, Anna Fels, author of Necessary Dreams, and all of the authors in the 2011 Summer Book Reviews noted, “nothing can replace the importance of female networks throughout the arc of a woman’s life.” This is easy. Connect with interesting ladies. There are many tracks: corporate, entrepreneurial, social media, health & wellness.
Third, in case you are on the fence, please read this wonderful letter: Daffodil Garden, by Wendy Capland.
Let me know if I’ll see you there!
