I am passionate about using dogs in education. I do too much that isn’t focused on my passion.  I love it because working with kids and dogs is crazy some of the time, but fun all of the time . I hope to transform lives with my dogs.

I am a widow with children, sons-in-law, and grandchildren, a writer, creative business owner, and musician. I do writing, design greeting cards, play the French horn, and spend time with my family. I am…still growing, continuously learning, courageous, a people person, industrious, someone who loves to pet animals, an outdoor enthusiast, active! over-accommodating, persistent, a mother, lover, daughter, sister, an advocate of Women and Transition.I do…believe studying change is the basis toward creating understanding and positive pathways to support one another. I do believe our lexicon needs a refresh – what is a “broken family”/ “X-Spouse” / “Over-aged” / etc…? I do love life, nature, the wind in my hair, sunsets, the sounds of a rooster in the morning, and I do believe we are developing as a society….I do believe in happy . I love it because…it is feeling alive! I love it because….I am working for something bigger then myself.I hope to…be a pioneer, I hope to be an inspiration, I hope to…..leave a positive legacy, I hope….my business thrives,. I hope….to believe in my worth, myself. .

I am…a woman who has been unable to have children, despite great efforts trying. I am also a wife, devoted aunty, daughter, friend, community member, church participant, believer. I am a slow living and sustainable consumption advocate, creativity developer, design aesthete.I do…transitioning work on myself. I love it because…I love focusing on my strengths, it heartens, enthuses and empowers me, helps me to forge ahead.I hope to…do organisational development and vocational guidance or perhaps life coaching for other childless women. And creativity development, including from a Christian spiritual perspective.

I am…a leader, a mother, a city builder, a community builder. I do…lead people to drive positive change… inspire people to be at their very best. I love it because…I love to see others reach new heights, it is intellectually stimulating, I feel like I am making a difference, I am happiest when creating new systems and implementing. I hope to…find somewhere with the right organization where I can do just that.

I am…a woman, a mother, an entrepreneur, a speaker, a writer, a motivator, and a force of nature. I do…believe that anything is possible, and I do believe in myself. I love it because…it is a challenge, an ongoing process, and one that can be shared. I hope to…face my fears head on, rise to the occasion, and fulfill my contract and my purpose in this lifetime.

I am a successful mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, colleague, advisor, and friend. I am awesome. I am happy. I am in love. I have wonderful children and family. I advise family and friends to make good choices with their money.. I love it because…people trust me to do the right thing for them and their family. I am a builder. I catalyze young leaders to find meaning in their work. I love it because it makes me feel like I am giving back. I hope to write a book about it someday…Navigating Your Early Career During Times of Change.

I hope to…find a passion/interest that I can commit to for the next phase of my life, doing something productive and meaningful.

I am…Jane. 49 years old and mother to Alexei 6.5 years old adopted from Russia at 12 months old – my most fulfilling and life changing achievement. . I am a Life Style and Well Being Coach supporting women on their journey through the physical and emotional trauma of cancer treatment. Together, we re-build that through a series of coaching sessions. I meet so many incredible women and I sit in a privileged place within their lives” . I hope to have a long and full life.

I am…a child of God, 57 year old woman, couples therapist, mother of 2 adopted children, wife, daughter, sister, friend. I am spiritual, grateful, sometimes lonely and sad, sometimes afraid, sometimes frustrated and mad – emotionally flexible. I am fat and stressed and frustrated with myself. I do…many things that I love and am passionate about. My work as a couples therapist is deeply rewarding. I’m on the Executive Board of an area youth drug prevention coalition. I’m a mother and a wife. I weave and quilt and love fiber arts. I enjoy working on my family’s genealogy. I am forever curious about people and cultures and stories. I love it because…my life is a variety of passionate interests that absorb my heart and soul and connect me with others. My change of career in my late 30s (from CPA to family therapist) was a result of prayer and meditation and finally succumbing to God’s tiny voice to have faith and follow my calling.I hope to…joyfully grow old with my husband and children – and to lose weight and get healthy – my hope and desire for the past 45 years. Maybe I should focus on acceptance!.

. . . leaving a corporate job that gives me structure, colleagues and a sense of purpose to jump off of the cliff into the world of a portfolio career. . . . a lot of communicating, team facilitation and project management. I put into place systems and structures to inject discipline into teams’ and organizations’ work. I love it because I am good at it and I get a sense of accomplishment. I hope to find ways to create value for the other things I like to do: strategic insights and coaching.

I am…an energetic, inspired and caring person, who loves to learn and contribute in a meaningful way.I do…a lot of things at the same time. I am a juggler, who is at her best when busy. . I am…a wife, mother, daughter and brain surgery survivor. . I do…acts of kindness daily to make the world a better place. I love it because…it makes me feel that I am doing my part to heal the world. I hope to…create a nonprofit to help others.

I am a work in progress…I am courageous, kind and charming. . I do what I love! I coach leaders to find their voice and co-create with them a roadmap to bring it to life. I love it because it connects with my values, energizes me and connects me with others stories. I am privileged to listen to leader’s stories by being present. I hope to become less judgmental of myself and others. I hope to be more curious that certain everyday.

I am an attorney/consultant/community organizer with 15+ years of experience. Throughout my career, I have made a number of moves based on the needs of my family. As a result, my career has been very varied, though also quite interesting. I am currently who is taking time off to be with my two teenage daughters, but will be returning to work within the next year. I love the practice of law because it requires constant learning (about new areas of the law, new industries, changing public policy, etc). I hope to find a really exciting opportunity (or create my own opportunity) that aligns with my passions and experience.

I am curious and hungry for new discoveries about myself and the world around me. I do some things with joy, but too much stuff I do is uninspiring to me. I am grateful for the luxury of time, but I am not using my time wisely. I love it, not so much, feeling disconnected, and am afraid to break out of the routine I’ve established. I hope to take steps to my commitment to use my voice and take chances in new ways, to broaden my view and help others.

I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, business professional and on the verge of something great but held back by fear. . I do a lot for a company and a ton for my family but it feels like it’s in the wrong order. . I love it because I want to feel like I’m a part of something bigger than me. I want to connect with others and bring my whole self to every situation. . I hope to realign my life’s work with my values to achieve a better balance and wholehearted life. .

A campaign dedicated to advocacy and education about women and their transitions

Women & Transition serves as the cornerstone of a campaign dedicated to increasing the capacity for transition in women – everywhere!  Author Linda Rossetti started the not-for-profit WE R, Women’s Engagement Resources, to realize this mission.  The organization will create resources  – workbooks, video/audio tools, and curriculum – to support women and women’s organizations;  and will collaborate on research to further our understanding of transition in women’s lives.

Our first tool, VoiceWorx, is dedicated to helping women establish and exercise their own unique voice. Visit it here.

WE R will work through existing mission-based organizations to bring education and tools to women.  Join Our Community to receive updates of our progress.   Or inquire below about how your organization and its members might benefit from the tools developed through WE R.
